Is making electronic based music for 16 yrs not a veteran? Or being a member of IDM Forums for something like over 7 yrs?

They've disappeared. I guess they were a bit out of date/touch with current computer tech. Anyway, I've never posted much or very frequently I just focus on quality over quantity and if I see something that can help others improve their music then I offer advice.
Go to Dogsbark.net not Software Informer. I don't blame you for avoiding Software Informer as I wouldn't use it either. Too cheap looking.
ExoCore is free and I'm not affiliated with it in anyway. They also make a nice DSP app for smartphones which is how I first heard of them. Crazy that they offer so many freebies really.
