Love the 5.10 min onward breakdown, really nice. Not too sure about the first part. But the last part, works, tha bass sample is very nice.

Though the initial lo-fi synth was going to break into the 2001 Space Odyssey

Cheers, someone should do that' it's also the first two notes of Superman, but it's from the day the earth stood still, later samples are thing from another world. but damn, I can imgine 2001 commming in on a tune.
