Lately i encountered strange feeling in ears, like eardrum is burning, feeling was very soft nowhere enough to be called annoying or painful, it was followed by short, slight pain "pokes" tho, but still i went to 3 fucking doctors.
somehow im always "absolutely ok" because i can hear up to 8khz, rest is not needed apparently, i told him i am professional musician and i need to hear as much as possible, i had to fucking explain shit to doctor, he stares at me and asks what is "harmonics" with barely giving shit face, then he said that "i am somehow destroying my hearing by listening to sounds above 8khz" and go and take vitamins and sleep well. and he was fucking "professor"
today i woke up and mentioned that my tinnitus is different, it became wider frequency and more" noisey", i hear up to 14k i lost 1 khz in last week, someone fucking help me i am going deaf, this shit is so unfair
yes but how ? every doctor told me there is absolutely nothing to worry about
That's super weird. You went to see 3 different ones and they all said the same thing? Do they do ear treatment? Like, did they even check insides of it with these cool doctor gadgets? Honestly, even if it costs a bit, you better go find out what's happening if you feel that local doctors are wrong. Do you have the same problem with both ears?
Yeah. From what OP said it sounds like run of the mill, albeit quite bad ear infection.
OP, go to a GP and tell them your symptoms and ask for a script for ear drops for an ear infection. Even if they check your ear out and don't see anything, explain to them that you've been to several doctors and heard the same story and you would just like to try an appropriate medication for the symptoms you're experiencing... And say then at least that way you'll know that it's not an ear infection if it doesn't clear up.
But yeah. It sounds like a double ear infection I got from a shitty hotel pool in Asia that a shitty doctor gave me these shitty ear drops that made the infection worse to the point that I went deaf and we were like, should we cancel the flight and I was like no way fuck that I am going home so we went shopping for some serious painkillers and I chewed them down like candy on the plane and then when we landed they all kicked in and I was like shiiiiiiiiiiiiit how am I going to get past the dogs in customs... Long story short, I made it through and hoofed it in a cab to an all night doctors and got those drops and the first one was like heaven... And the second one was...
Trust me, ask the doc for a script.
Gotta remember. Doctors are wrong sometimes. And brief diagnosis doesn't pick up everything. My GP told me for about three months that my sinus infection was just a virus/cold until it flared up so bad I went in there and said, "Just give me the fucking antibiotics dude!" A week later, I was flying back to Asia sans painkillers bro
