I'm starting this topic cause no one here share about this kind of house, Romanian House or also called Micro House.
I'm such interested about the groove in this music, it's based on minimalist rythm, long repetition & progression.
There are some precursor like Raresh, Pralesh, Fumiya Tanaka, Petre Inspirescu, Mihai Popescu and others.
It could be a real 4x4 Rythm but sometimes i like when they "break" the kicks line as Loopdeville or Silat Beksi.
wait what? romanian house? I always thought microhouse is more experimental and draws influences from ambient, techno and glitch. Unless it's something and I don't know anything about.

also, your example sounds like tech house to me.
I agree with you about the "exxignotis" tracks, it's not really micro house. But i can't say that is tech house too.
It's kind an hybrid track i think, there is some dub sound, tech house voices & micro rythms. So hard to define it clearly. But the music you share is such great. I love all of them.
But for me it's more experimental music with some influences, cause usually romanian house is the minimal style of house. Playing with repetition, round bass, progressive little noises... sometimes tracks are 20min long.
The best exemple of Micro house is ''for sure'' the romanian scene :
Raresh
Pralesh
Petre Inspirescu
Sepp
Mihai Popescu
and others...

YES, that ROMANIAN SOUND! If it says Bucharest on it, Im buying! A lot of mixed genre stuff, breakbeat, but heavily house influenced. My production has been leaning that way for years, now Im really fitting in. Didnt know how to cross the genres like them, but damn glad they did. Keep that shit up Romania!

hmm... I've had my music compared to it, but I wasn't aware it was even a genre before that. I guess it shares more than a few influences.
Sounds like I have a new area to dig into. This sounds cool.
I produce this genre (Romanian Minimal) and indeed the most prominent artists of this genre are the a:rpia:r crew (Raresh, Petre Inspirescu and Rhadoo), the other artists from Sunrise (like Vlad Caia, Barac, Cristi Cons, Dubtil, Cezar, etc.) and others from the Romanian scene like Mihai Pol, Lumieux, Sepp.
However, microhouse and Romanian minimal are, in my vision, genre and subgenre. I think the most defining aspects that Romanian producers have is the deep, almost dubby style of creating the bass sound. Other defining aspects are: the many percussions that you hear in a song & the relaxing synths that give a chilled out tone to the rather energetic and, more than often, broken beats that many tracks have. The structure tends to be loopy and the build-ups are long.
Of course, each artist has its own imprint, some going further (like Barac or Andrei Ciubuc) to leave their own trademark and style on the genre, while others are more into DJ-ing and dig for golden "nuggets" produced by people outside Romania.
I think that it's mostly about experimentation, creating a "perfect" groove in which each sound is where it should be achieving a sort of energetic and relaxing vibe that you can dance on for long hours.
