Really good Rhythmic Noise

Just wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for rhythmic noise artists or songs, I am a bit clueless but really enjoy this type of music!

Re: Really good Rhythmic Noise

Try PanSonic, Alva Noto, Ryoji Ikeda

see if that fits the bill.

Techno starts with a capital 'T', as in TB-303 and TR-808.

Re: Really good Rhythmic Noise

Ok things like Noise/Girl, Haujjobb, Ophidiam, Venetian Snares, Frog Pocket, DJ Scotch Egg! The last one is awesome! I know these aren't all specific to that genre but they are of a similar style at least I think so anyway.

I used to listen to my radiator, but now I'm all about the refrigerator.

Which make and model? I found Kenmore to be a bit flat, I much prefer the warmth in the hum that GE models have, but only the pre 1985 models. They're hard to come by. Make sure they are plugged into a stable source. The frequency oscillations in the current can be irritating, albeit on hot and humid days can add an interesting texture to the sound. You have to just focus enough...

Re: Really good Rhythmic Noise

Noise/Girl is all you need really.

Also, Nkondi, Merzbow (lots of his stuff TBH), Mutilory, Chaos Royale, etc.

Furthermore if you just want noise that's fixed to a grid, Kylie Minoise comes to mind.

All of these + Asche, Morgenstern, Monolith, Sonar, Mono No Aware, MS Gentur, Iszoloscope, Oyaarss, Orphx (Also techno oriented)

And +1 for Pneumatic Detach! I love his work, such an underrated artist.

Gov. A has a project under his real name that's super glitchy / rhythmic. Will post a link later when I feel like it
