So I have something resembling an ep I will be uploading soon. So for ďmarketingĒ and hooking the IDMf community up, I am gonna share a sample library of sounds from the ep.
Itís 50 loops of mostly droney guitars, some little melodic stuff, a couple bass lines and only 2 drum things.
Itís all sounds from the tracks and itís lots of guitar stuff, kinda post rock sounding stuff.
Would anyone even be interested? And what would be the best way to upload to share?
Itís about 250Mb (IIRC) of 24/ 48 loops.
Sounds like a cool thing to do..and I'd certainly be interested in grabbing them..take it they come with permission to use in our own works..and, if so, would you want a credit for the use? Personally, I'd give one anyway, but you never know..somebody might read this who wouldn't have a clue what would normally be expected.
As for sharing..any of the usual suspects would do, I guess..Dropbox..Mega..any one of them that will let somebody download a file that size for free..the last thing you want is put people off taking them, if they need a paid account to dl them.
Thanks for these..downloading in the background without issues as I type. I'll link you to anything I produce using these..much appreciated and best of lick with the EP when it hits.
Thx, I will let you guys know, shouldn’t be too much longer, waiting on the artwork and then that’s it!
Let others on the site know if you like the sounds, they are pretty wet with effects so not sure how usable they may or may not be.
Edit: key is in the names, but not bpm, I might be able to get those for you guys if you want them. Just ask me and I’ll see what I can do. But since I typically find it easier to work with samples if I know the key rather than tempo I went that route.
Liking them a lot..some very usable sounds in there, though there's also some I know I'm unlikely to ever use..and that's no reflection on the quality..just a musical style thing.
I haven't had a chance to actually use any of them in a project yet..been mostly mixing stuff for others, rather than creating my own stuff, but I've a couple of sounds ear-marked for use in something coming up soon.
