That's a lot to remember. There were probably a lot of things, but I'll never think of them again

Re: Music You Discovered and Bought Thanks to the Forum

Someone on here turned me onto the label AtomNation which I've been following pretty religiously for about a year.

Also I've really enjoyed a lot of the member's releases here more than anything.

Lug told me about Lobster Theremin (another label).

I think it was Jakob Creutzfeld who introduced me to Raster-Noton.

Picked up Vlantis' new album. Very pop punk, but lots of electronic elements. Really great. Ya'll should check it out.

Probably a whole lot, but what comes to mind right away is Kritical Audio's "Katacomb" EP thanks to Evelon referring to it at some point. Can't stop listening to it whenever I put it on. Really wish that project had done a full-length album.

Can't say there is a whole lot, but I do remember everyone going on about how Beatwife was aphex twin or something and that was good exposure, I own a handful of Beatwife CD's now and pretty much everything from Love Love records as well, consequentially.

Re: Music You Discovered and Bought Thanks to the Forum

I can credit this forum for getting me way more into all electronic music that wasn't current rave music. I was kinda starting down that path when I joined, but it would have been a much slower journey.

I bought a Jazzyspoon album last year. Guess it was more of an EP - regardless, it's great!

Honestly I rank "A Product of My Enviroment" as easily in my Top 100 albums somewhere. And pretty damn high up in my electronic albums ranking. It is an endlessly interesting collage of modern bass music tropes, trip/hip hop influences with a whole lot of other stuff blended in a really smart, energetic and heavy album. It really invokes a variety of moods from me. I can jam out to it with the windows down driving on a summer day or get introspective with headphones.
