Ableton Live 8 Tutorial: How to make A Heavy Bass Synth in Sampler

Hey guys just made a New tutorial video on how to make Heavy Bass synth by resampling in Live 8 using Sampler!

Nice tutorial, I have a similar process, but I never thought about trying to modulate the loop start.
I take one extra step, put a chromatic tuner and tune the sample to a C.

Wish i Included it, I typical use the Spectrum in Live to tune mine.

What tuner do you use?

Because it will give you a completely different sound, and you have a fraction of the parameters to modulate.

operator can't produce the transients you get from doing what i explained.

Another thing that can produce some pretty interesting results is modulating the sample start as well, along with a 4 or 8-bar loop you've made with a bass with a hell of a lot of modulations.
I tend to do this using the Aux Envelope to the left of the LFOs.

And, just because I'm pedantic, it's "mid/side", not "mono/stereo", although, to be fair, it could be argued that mono/stereo makes more sense than mid/side, haha.

you can get this kind on sound from opperator just takes alot longer and more skill i guess. but nice trick not used the sampler yet will have to have a bash at it.
