Intel vs AMD - DawBench (Pro-Q/Pro-MB/Kramer) on Reaper & Ableton

Hi guys!

I decided to bench test the new 1800x Ryzen CPU against Intel's 6900K offering for audio related tasks. I took the benchmark files you can find on DawBench.com and customized them to test more popular plugins:

Fabfilter Pro-MB, Fabfilter Pro-Q, and Kramer Tape.

DawBench also lacked Ableton test files so I replicated their testing environment and have included my modified benchmark files in the video description.

Just saw this and its a mute test as daw companies did not know about ryzen before hands and theyve just scaled softwhere to intel products, hence the big leap.
Plus daws mainly only go on a core clock basis and dont really use hyperthredding that much. (i have both a ryzen 1800x machine and my main rig which is a 6900k to)

joem, what's your take on the DAW vs DAW performance? That's much more interesting to me . I'm pretty set for hardware, but software, as the name implies, is much more flexible for me. Any idea where FLStudio would fall relative to reaper or ableton?
