Delay plugins

Hay guise. I am in the market for a new delay plugin. I have some already but none really seem to have exactly what I want. I need one that has wet/dry as two separate controls, for one. Preferably it should have a way to switch from mono to stereo as I'll be using it for different applications. But really just rattle off some delays you dig and I'll gratefully give them a look-see. Thank you kindly.

It doesn't have separate wet/dry level controls, but I've really been enjoying this one since it came out:

Re: Delay plugins

I like the one on Trash, personally. Seems to cover all the bases.

Edit: Guitar Rig also has some nice delays, especially for guitars.

win7 and Reaper. I'll mostly be using it for vocals but possibly also lead guitars, choirs and random FX.

Re: Delay plugins

U-he Satin (no separate wet/dry) and Rob Papen Delay (no separate wet dry).

Satin just sounds amazing. RP Delay sounds nice too, a ton of nice options. Can be complex or simple. Satin is all about the vibes. RP Delay is for crazy routing.

I should say I got RP delay for like 10 dollars or something insane. So im my opinion isnt on price versus features.

Re: Delay plugins

ReFlex Pro from stw-audio ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]
)

As you can see from the image above..it does have separate wet and dry controls you're looking for..and it will work great for all the things you mentioned. They currently have it on offer until the end of the month (€20 off the usual €49), but make sure to try out the demo first if you're interested.

They also offer a cut-down free version, which is basically just one big knob..

..actually, there are few controls on it, but the main effect control is the big one. Trust me, grab this even if you don't want to spend out on the other one..it has the same great sound as ReFlex Pro.

I've been leaning on Guitar Rig and REAKTOR for delays as of late. Great space echo emulations!

The uhbiks are nice processors with a vintage flair. They are geared towards more or less obviously synthetic-sizing sounds with effects (though flangers and phasers always sound like that to me...) and do a great job at treating acoustic instruments. They aren't very subtle and definitely have a bit of their own sound. Being dedicated effects they're not the most versatile things, but they do have some tricks up their sleeve.

They are an option for FX plugin group, but if you already have plenty of good-sounding FX i'd pass on them. They're not a unique-ish must-have option like Presswerk and Bazille are. MFM2 is amazing, but really expects you to know what you are doing. The UI isn't the most intuitive one, either. Still best dedicated delay I've used.
