How to get firm strings sound ?

As in title. I've always been strugling with the pads in house music. Can't get that firm, unmuddy string sound that can work.

Give me some suggestions for this song that's in progress on strings. Links on where to find proper settings etc.. Any suggestions?

Re: How to get firm strings sound ?

If you can, lower your highpass filter, or shift the notes an octave down, or add notes an octave down (leaving your original ones intact) at a lower volume. Try not to interfere with the fundamental harmonic, and it should solidify.
