Re: Your Favorite Burial Tracks?

Slightly funny you both picked tracks he collaborated with other people on. I'd say some of the fairly recent stuff like Ashtray Wasp, Rough Sleeper, and Stolen Dog, as well as some of the Untrue tracks like Archangel and Etched Headplate. And In McDonald's.

I really liked the Rival Dealer EP because it sounded the most different to his first two albums.

Hmm, hard to choose... but if I had to:

Etched Headplate and In McDonald's also come to mind.

Re: What are your favorite Burial tracks?

Didn't really get on with the Rival Dealer record (Rival Dealer is the best on that EP by far); he seems to be moving away from his initial rationale and premise of his music with that release.

Kindred from the Kindred EP is killer though, when that beat comes in at 0.52ish!

Archangel is THE go-to burial track though.

Re: What are your favorite Burial tracks?

Honestly, there are just too many good ones...from Untrue however, Homeless is my favorite...across the EPs, Shutta is a great standout that not many people ever mention...also the pair Truant/Rough Sleeper are just two perfect songs back to back...whatever happened to him releasing more music in 2015??...

Re: What are your favorite Burial tracks?

Shell of Light is an incredible track. Manages to make a downbeat, introspective garage/2step track that you still want to dance to.

I would have to say my favourite is also Archangel. Its a fantastic track and has a lot of the elements that make Burial most interesting for me.

Re: What are your favorite Burial tracks?

Burial on his own, Kindred, one of the darkest beats I've ever com across:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC16FJTI6XM

With Four Tet: Moth, one of the most inexplicably pretty tracks either artist has coughed up:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCzJQRVbWtE

And of course Burial, Four Tet and Thom Yorke are a 3-way match made in heaven:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91tcYBQBzL4

So yeah, these three.

The two tracks with Four Tet and Yorke, of which I prefer Ego. Also, I have a weak spot for Archangel.
