Yes, there is still a lot to develope, and currently it is rather procedural. There could be a problem that describing the position of each molecule will require enonormous disk space. But I believe that this is already or soon resolved.

But I don't understand the hatrid. Even if they are scam, which I highly doubt, it does not affect your wallet or anything. The only real question is, what if HL3 is waiting just this? OH God, another 10 years.
The second thing that is even kind of ironic, is that Intel has processors that are the size of a pinhead, and as powerful as an older PC, which is a lot. These could be put together and then we would have a thousand-core home computer... Currently the processors are used on developing the Terminator 2 liquid robot technology, which is realer than you think.
