Skweee and Wonky thread.

Post up Swkeee and Wonky tunes here!

I don't really see these sort of artists mentioned a lot round here, but to me its a very refreshing. A lot of it has similar Dubstep style syncopation, but with less emphasis on in your face wobbles. Its often less dark and evil sound, and more fun and cute. Somtimes it has crunchy 8-bit sounds, other times Hip Hop, Funk and Electro sounds.

Slugabed - Quantum Leap (from the Ultra Heat Treated LP)

Kuedo - Starfox (from the Dream Sequence EP)

Cocobryce - Wobble Trouble (from the Boesoek LP)

Eero Johannes - Katt Witt 700 Watts (from the Eero Johannes LP)

Poborsk - Naynaynay (from the Do The Centipede EP)

There's a lack of his stuff on youtube, but Pavan's Holy Volt album is incredible. It's out on Harmonia which is a wicked label. Flogsta Dancehall is the shit too.

Also Ikonika:

Relevant to my interests.

This is THE track that got me into Dubstep in the first place.

I've been searching something that cool since that time.

I have heard of Skwee but never actually heard it.

This is pretty cool, and by which i mean i can only imagine seriously cool people making this stuff. I feel like such a nerd while listening to this. Not in a "this track is nerdy" way, but in a "i hope those kids with the trendy haircuts dont think im trying to hard". Dont ask me why.

But yeah, this shit is pretty awesome. Especially those first three tracks, they're pretty incredible . I'll explore more.
